Inmiddels zijn de werkzaamheden bijna afgerond. De oude toestellen zijn verwijderd, de nieuwe zijn geplaatst. De wokschommel moet nog geplaatst worden, maar de werkzaamheden liggen in verband met het weer tijdelijk stil.

 

 

 

 
Sinds afgelopen oudejaarsavond is één van de glijbanen van het speeltoestel op het Koningsplein kapot. De gemeente heeft toegezegd deze te maken. Echter: het speeltoestel is inmiddels ruim 15 jaar oud en dat betekent dat het toestel is afgeschreven/versleten en daarom geheel vervangen zal worden.
Voorafgaand aan het pleindiner op 8 september is daarom een e-mail verzonden met het verzoek na te denken over de wensen waar de nieuwe toestellen aan moeten voldoen. Aansluitend is er op 10 september een vergadering geweest met de gemeente, de beheercommissie Koningsplein en enkele geinteresseerden. De leverancier van de nieuw te plaatsen toestellen heeft daar een presentatie gegeven waar iedereen op kon reageren. Naar aanleiding hiervan heeft de leverancier onderstaande ontwerpen gemaakt.
