Den Haag – De recherche van Bureau Segbroek is op zoek naar mensen die meer informatie hebben over een babbeltruc aan de Van Merlenstraat. Daar werd donderdag 12 maart een hoogbejaarde dame opgelicht door twee vrouwen.

De bewoonster kreeg donderdag omstreeks 14.30 uur een telefoontje dat er iemand van de thuiszorg langs zou komen. Niet veel later stonden er inderdaad twee dames van -naar eigen zeggen- thuiszorg voor de deur. Na enige tijd verlieten de twee vrouwen de woning en werd de bewoonster opnieuw gebeld. Dit keer was het iemand van ‘de bank’, en werd de pincode gevraagd aan de bewoonster. De nietsvermoedende vrouw gaf haar pincode. Korte tijd later werd de vrouw daadwerkelijk door de bank gebeld en bleek er inmiddels een aanzienlijk bedrag van haar rekening te zijn opgenomen.
